Question: Can I request to have HCVN air something they produced, but currently are not airing?
Answer: Yes!! HCVN appreciates the community’s input on shows that are aired on HCVN Channels 10 and 7. You can request programs by emailing the Coordinator at HCVN at hcvn@hutchtel.net
Question: How do I go about getting a message or announcement on HCVN’s Community Message Board? Does it cost anything to put such announcements on HCVN?
Answer: You can get announcements and messages on HCVN by emailing them to hcvn@hutchtel.net or by dropping them off at the station located at 100 Jefferson Street S.E. in Hutchinson. Community Message Board advertising is available to any group, with the exception of business advertising, which is strictly prohibited. The cost is $5 per week and must be paid in advance. This fee is for the time and labor needed to input each item into the system. Non-profit groups are exempt from the fee, unless there is a charge to the attendees, at which time the $5 will be charged. At the discretion of HCVN, may charge a set-up fee to those groups who qualify for the waiver of the weekly fee, if there is extensive wording and/or editing of the message. The group or organization is responsible for letting HCVN know of any format changes to the printed text. The $5 fee is tax deductible, and we will give the group or organization a written receipt/invoice.
Question: There is a show on HCVN that I like. Can I have a copy?
Answer: Yes, you can. The price is $10 per hour of footage. This price can be lower if you bring in your own tapes or order in bulk
