Hutchinson City Council Meetings & Workshops
The Hutchinson City Council Meetings can be seen live on HCVN Channel 7 the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month, beginning at 5:30pm. The meetings will be re-aired Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30pm and Saturdays at 10:30am. The City Council Workshops are aired an hour and a half prior to the City Council Meeting on Channel 7, provided that the city has them scheduled. Please refer to the City of Hutchinson website for updated meeting information.
Hutchinson School Board Meetings
The Hutchinson District #423 School Board Meeting are broadcast live from the City Center council chambers on HCVN Channel 7 the 2nd Monday of each month at 5:30pm. They will be re-aired on Monday and Friday evenings at 5:30 pm on HCVN 7 and Sundays at 9am. The School Board invites you to their open meetings or to tune-in to Channel 7.
Hutchinson Veterans Outreach Program
Watch HCVN cable channel 7 on Mondays at 12pm, Fridays at 9pm, and Saturdays at 3pm to see the Hutchinson Veterans Outreach Program. This is a locally created series hosted by veteran Lisa Dittell, and featuring guests who bring their stories, assistive information, and veteran-friendly events and services to the show. Hutchinson Veterans Outreach Program aims to connect area veterans to each other, as well as to build a bridge between civilians and veterans.
McLeod County Board Meetings
McLeod County Board meetings are shown live from the Glencoe courthouse on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 9a.m., or when otherwise scheduled by the board. The meetings are replayed on HCVN channel 7 Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 9am, and Sunday evenings at 7pm.
Public Domain Television
HCVN offers some of your favorite television from the past during our public domain screening times. This programming is freely available to public access channels due to the lifted copyright restrictions. Tune in to channel 7 from 12pm - 3pm Saturdays and Sundays for "Throwback Television," featuring game shows and sit-coms, and dramas from the 1940s, 50s, and 60s. And, if you're looking for a Saturday night movie, turn on channel 7 at 8p.m. for "Classic Cinema," featuring great films from years gone by.
Utilities Commission Meetings
The meetings of the Hutchinson Utilities Commission are available live on the third Wednesdays of the month at 3p.m. on HCVN channel 7. These meetings are replayed on the following Wednesdays at 3pm, Fridays at 9am, and Saturdays at 5pm.
Your Legislators
Your Legislators is a one-hour public affairs Pioneer program produced for public television stations serving the citizens of Minnesota. It allows moderator Barry Anderson to field questions from viewers and provides a forum for citizens to directly obtain information about state issues that most concern them. Catch this program seasonally on HCVN cable channel 7 Tuesdays at 9pm, Thursdays at 12pm, and Saturdays at 7am.
